Olympians Sajan Prakash, Srihari Nataraj and Maana Patel are not in the Indian squad.

The Doha meet, which concludes on February 18, is also a qualifying event for the Paris 2024 Olympics. Medals will be on offer in swimming, artistic swimming, open water swimming, diving, high diving and water polo events for both men and women. London Singh Hemam, who was the only Indian diver at the World Aquatics Championships 2023, will lead the five-member Indian squad in diving events this time.

India’s open water swimming contingent, meanwhile, consists of three men and three women. Anurag Singh, Army Pal, Prashans Manjunath Hiremagalur, Rithika Mahesh and Ashmitha Chandra will return for their second successive appearance at the World Aquatics Championships.
