Delhi Capitals will clash with Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Women’s Premier League 2024 final at the Arun Jaitley Stadium (Ferozeshah Kotla) in New Delhi on Sunday.

The DC vs RCB WPL 2024 final is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM IST and will be available on live streaming and live telecast in India.

Having finished runners-up last season, Delhi Capitals women’s cricket team will be vying for the crown once again in WPL 2024.

Meg Lanning’s side were dominant in the group stages and secured the top spot which allowed them a direct entry into the final. DC collected 12 points with six victories and two losses in eight games.

DC, who suffered a seven-wicket defeat at the hands of Mumbai Indians in last season’s final, are coming into this year’s title clash following consecutive wins over RCB and Gujarat Giants.

Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore pulled off a heist against defending champions MI in the Eliminator to progress to the final.

Despite putting up a less-than-desirable total in the first innings, RCB spinners were clinical in the final overs and secured a thrilling five-wicket win. Australian cricket icon Ellyse Perry won the Player of the Match award for her 50-ball 66.

RCB had finished third in the group stage with eight points. They won and lost four games each. Smriti Mandhana’s side has taken on DC twice this season already and ended up falling short on both occasions.
