UEFA confirmed on Tuesday (10 October) that the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland will host the 2028 Men's European Football Championship.
England, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, and Wales submitted a joint bid for the continental tournament, which ran unopposed.
Matches are set to take place at ten different stadiums, including the cities Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Dublin, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Manchester, and Newcastle.
The governing body of European football also announced the hosts of the 2032 European Football Championship will be Italy and Türkiye.
Next year’s Euro 2024 will be hosted by Germany. Italy are the defending champions.
