The much-anticipated UEFA Euro 2024 football tournament starts in Germany on Saturday (AEST). The 17th edition of the European Football Championship will conclude with the final on July 14.
The opening fixture of UEFA Euro 2024 will see hosts and three-time winners Germany take on Scotland at the Munich Football Arena on Saturday. The Group A contest will begin at 5:30 AM AEST in Australia. Live streaming and broadcast of all Euro 2024 football matches will be available in Australia.
A total of 24 European teams will take part in the championship. The teams will be divided into six groups of four sides each. Georgia will be making their tournament debut.
The Euro 2024 final will take place at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on July 14.

Cristiano Ronaldo, the highest international goal-scorer of all time, will play his sixth edition with Portugal.
Ronaldo is the highest goal-scorer in the tournament history with 14 goals in 25 appearances. He was also the joint top-scorer at the UEFA Euro 2020 and played a pivotal role in helping Portugal win the title for the first time in 2016.
