Let the 2024 Grand Slam tennis season begin.

The Australian Open kicks off on Sunday (14 January), marking its first-ever Sunday start and 15-day schedule, as defending champions Novak Djokovic and Aryna Sabalenka seek back-to-back titles.

Caroline Wozniacki, winner in 2018, returns to Melbourne for the first time since 2020 with two kids in tow. She is one of a myriad of mums back on tour including two-time winner Naomi Osaka and 2016 champ Angelique Kerber.

Rising men's star Jannik Sinner will open the tournament on Rod Laver Arena, while Americans Frances Tiafoe and Taylor Fritz, as well as Leylah Fernandez, Maria Sakkari, Andrey Rublev and Barbora Krejcikova are all set to take to the court.
