Suryakumar Yadav’s centuries in T20 cricket - the complete list

Despite making his international debut for India at the ripe age of 30 in 2021, Suryakumar Yadav has already established himself as one of the premier T20 batters in the world.

Suryakumar Yadav’s unmatched repertoire of shots, which has earned him the moniker of Mr 360 of India, makes him the perfect storm in the T20 format and a nightmare for even the best of bowlers.

SKY’s record in the format, particularly on the international arena, also attests to the fact.

Suryakymar Yadav’s four centuries in T20 internationals puts him only behind Rohit Sharma and Glenn Maxwell on the list of players with the most centuries in T20I cricket.

Overall, though, Suryakumar Yadav has scored six centuries in T20 cricket, with the remaining two coming in Mumbai Indians’ colours in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Though he has been playing T20 cricket since 2010, all of Suryakumar Yadav’s centuries in the format, interestingly, have come after he made his India debut against England in a T20I on March 14, 2021.

Suryakumar Yadav’s first T20 century

Suryakumar Yadav’s first T20 century is also his first T20I century.

Almost a year after making his international debut against England, the Indian batter registered his maiden T20 ton against the same opponent at Trent Bridge, Nottingham on July 10, 2022.

Chasing England’s 215 in the match, the third match of the three-match T20I series, India found themselves reeling at 31/3 with Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant back in the pavilion.

Suryakumar Yadav stepped in and scored a blazing 117 off just 55 balls to drag India back into the contest. SKY, however, couldn’t see the job through as he departed in the 19th over and India ended up losing the match by 17 runs.

However, it is still Suryakumar Yadav’s highest score in T20 cricket to date and the only time that his team lost a match in the format when he scored a ton.

Later that same year, Suryakumar hammered Kiwi bowlers to score an unbeaten 111 off 51 at the Bay Oval and followed it up with another undefeated 112 against Sri Lanka in Rajkot in early 2023 to register his first T20 ton on home soil.

Suryakumar Yadav’s first IPL century

Part of the IPL since 2012, Suryakumar Yadav had to wait over a decade for his first ton in the competition. His quickfire 103 not out at the Wankhede in IPL 2023 guided MI to a massive total of 218/5 against Gujarat Titans, whose chase fell 27 runs short.

Suryakumar Yadav’s other IPL century came in the 2024 season against Sunrisers Hyderabad, again at the Wankhede, and resulted in another win for MI.
