Harbhajan Singh throwing jabs in a boxing ring, Yuzvendra Chahal hitting a badminton smash or Kidambi Srikanth attempting a googly while Manu Bhaker tries to hit one straight down the ground, just like Smriti Mandhana does.
Sounds unreal, right? Not anymore.
Sports Swap India, the latest edition of the Olympic Channel's original formatted series, will treat fans to all these and much more.
The upcoming Sports Swap season will see star Indian cricketers swap sports with some of India's best-known names, including Olympians, from other sports. And the results, may we say, are as hilarious as they are engaging.
Indian spin bowling legend Harbhajan Singh, fondly called the ‘Turbanator’ for his feisty and destructive spells, will swap roles with boxer Vikas Krishan Yadav and table tennis player Sharath Kamal.
Vikas Krishan Yadav and Sharath Kamal, Olympians and the Commonwealth Games gold medallists in their respective sports, meanwhile, will try their hands at cricket.
Yuzvendra Chahal, famous for his magical bowling spells as much as he is for his wit on social media, will be up for a unique challenge when he pairs up with badminton star Kidambi Srikanth and Olympian archer Pravin Jadhav. Can Yuzi spin his web with a racket and bow?
Kidambi Srikanth, a world championships silver medallist, led India to their maiden Thomas Cup title last year while archer Pravin Jadhav represented India at the Tokyo Olympics. Their talents in cricket will finally be unveiled.
Indian women’s cricketer Smriti Mandhana, known for her sublime grace on the cricket field, will try her hands at shooting and hockey. Youth Olympic Games shooting champion Manu Bhaker and hockey player Savita Punia will be seen with the cricket bat and ball.
Indian star cricket all-rounder Jemimah Rodrigues will trade the crease for a basketball court when she pairs up with Akanksha Singh. Can Jemimah beat the buzzer with the same efficiency as she scores last-ball winners? You’ll need to tune in to find out.
The last edition saw USWNT footballer Heather O'Reilly, an Olympic gold medallist, swap sports with Rio 2016 Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast Margarita Mamun. Dutch table tennis player Britt Eerland of the Netherlands and New Zealand hockey player Blair Tarrant, both Olympians, learnt each other’s sport.
The first season of Sports Swap had 12 episodes while the India special series will have seven.
