Sunday (20 August) will see the culmination of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 with a showpiece event in women’s football: the World Cup Final between Spain and England.
This is the first time that either sides have made a FIFA Women's World Cup final.
For England, it was a 3-1 win over Australia that saw them qualify for the final.
Spain booked their place in the final with a dramatic win over Sweden. Youngest Salma Paralluelo put Spain 1-0 up in the 81st minute, only for Rebecka Blomqvist to equalise in the 88th. Spain's Olga Carmona then secured her nation a 2-1 victory with the winner in the 89th minute.
