Chalk up another win for Ailing (Eileen) Gu.

The Chinese freestyle skiing star topped the podium in the halfpipe World Cup event on Saturday (21 January) in Calgary, Canada, where she was the only one to clear 90 points and has a winning streak of five.

Gu maxed out on her second run with 93.50 for her second victory of the week, comfortably taking her above Canada’s Rachael Karker who placed second with 85.50.

Gu's compatriot Zhang Kexin was third (81.75).

In Calgary, Gu - who topped 90 on her two other runs as well with a 90.00 on the first and 91.75 on the third - is competing for the first time since winning halfpipe and big air Olympic gold at Beijing 2022.

The 19-year-old did not compete in the World Cup season opener last month at Copper Mountain in Colorado which was won by Karker.
