Reigning English champions Liverpool face a tricky away fixture against Leeds United in Premier League 2020-21's matchweek 32. Leeds United vs Liverpool kicks off at 12:30 AM on Tuesday.
Liverpool's title defence this season is already over with Jurgen Klopp's men trailing leaders Manchester City by a massive 22 points.
Following their exit from the UEFA Champions League (UCL) 2020-21 at the hands of Real Madrid earlier this week, Mohamed Salah and Co. will look to salvage something out of the forgettable campaign by securing a UCL spot for next season.
To do that, Liverpool have to finish in the top four in this season's EPL. The Reds, however, are currently sixth on the points table with 52 points - three behind fourth-placed West Ham.
With seven matches left in their league campaign, Jurgen Klopp's boys will need to string together a good run to achieve their goal.
Marcelo Biesla's Leeds, though, will make things hard. Having come back into the EPL after a 16-year absence, the Peacocks have done admirably and are placed 10th on the table with 45 points.
Their position, however, doesn't quite reflect how dangerous Leeds have been. Biesla's men have lost some silly points occasionally but have won plaudits for their fearless attacking football. They have also emerged as giant killers in matches against the big teams.
Leeds' latest scalp, in fact, was league leaders Manchester City. Despite playing an entire half with 10-men, Leeds emerged 2-1 winners against Pep Guardiola's team last week courtesy a Stuart Dallas brace.
