If you dress like a champion and play with a champion does that make you the next champion?
Serena Williams playing tennis with daughter Olympia Ohanian Jr. is all you'll need to get you through today.
Look at that stance, she's a natural!
And Olympia even has her own Insta with nearly 600k followers already!
Wrestler squats tree
While Serena tunes up for the U.S. Open with her practice partner, Greco-Roman wrestler Adam Coon is making do with what's lying around the farm to train with during quarantine.
Hey look, there's a tree. That'll do.
Adam Coon vs. Mijain Lopez?
Team USA star Coon won a super heavyweight 130kg Pan American wrestling champs gold medal in 2019, to add to his 2018 World champs silver medal, and may be working his way towards a Tokyo Olympics showdown with the great Mijain Lopez from Cuba.
Lopez is out to finish his career with a historic fourth straight Olympic gold medal in the heavyweight wrestling.
Originally planning for 2020 to be his last season, the 37-year-old Cuban has extended that to summer 2021 where he could bow out as the greatest of all time at the Japan Games.
Olympic surfer foils shark attack
Having a hard day at the office?
Spare a thought for Michel Bourez of France's Olympic surf team who had to fend off a shark yesterday.
The hammerhead came for his rig while he was foil surfing in deep water off the coast of Tahiti.
"I put my foil in between him and I to protect myself. He bite my foil for the second time realizing it was definitely not eatable and swam back away from me."
The propeller of a foil board is a shiny object below water that has been known to attract sharks. Bourez has no hard feelings, saying that he had seen hammerheads swimming around before choosing to getting in the water with them.
"The ocean is their world and I respect that! No bad feelings at all! He just owe me a new foil 😜."
Sky Brown is back in the bowl!
Yesterday we talked about 11-year-old skateboarder Sky Brown and how Tony Hawk thinks she could be the best skater ever.
Today Sky has shared her first vid back and dropping into the bowl after her nasty fall.
"I’m so happy to be back in a bowl again," she posted, "🍲 😁❤️ It was really fun."
Welcome back Sky!
Trivia Time!
Yesterday we asked who the youngest swimmer ever to win Olympic gold is, and of course the answer is Japan's Kyoko Iwasaki who won the 200m breaststroke Olympic gold medal at Barcelona '92.
She was 14 years and 6 days old. Congrats to her, and those of you who answered correctly!
Now for today's teaser:
Why did Pierre de Coubertin, the father of the modern Games and the creator of the five Olympic rings symbol, use the colours blue, yellow, black, green, red, and white?
- The rings were meant to be white with a black trim but his kids coloured them in with crayons and he liked it.
- He drew them while looking at blue, yellow, black, green, white, and red flowers in his garden.
- To incorporate at least one colour from the flag of each competing country.
- He thought that these colours best represented the world of sports.
