Janja Garnbret, Seo Chaehyun, Ogata Yoshiyuki, and Yoshida Satone take lead qualifying top spots at Sport Climbing World Cup 2022 Jakarta event - Results
There were joint winners in the men's and women's lead qualifying round at the first World Cup ever to take place in Indonesia. Semis and finals will be shown on Olympic Channel right here.
Janja Garnbret and Seo Chaehyun tied for first place in the women's lead qualifying competition at the sport climbing World Cup in Jakarta, Indonesia, while Ogata Yoshiyuki and Yoshida Satone finished joint top of the men's.
Slovenian Olympic champion Garnbret and Seo of Korea both completed their run on Sunday (25 September) witha final score of 1.94, well clear of Garnbret's compatriot Vita Lukin who took third with 2.74.
The men's qualifying round was dominated by Japan, who claimed all three top spots.
Ogata and Yoshida sit ahead of their rivals with a score of 3.0, while Higuchi Masahiro was third with 4.74.
