Indonesia Open 2023: How to watch Lee Zii Jia live in BWF Super 1000 action in Jakarta

Lee Zii Jia will look to get his inconsistent badminton season headed in the right direction this week as the season's third big BWF World Tour Super 1000 event, the Indonesia Open 2023, takes place in Jakarta from 13–18 June.

The world number 10 Lee suffered a last-16 exit at his home Malaysia Masters, after having won all five of his matches at the Sudirman Cup.

With the current world rankings used in determining the seeds in Jakarta, Lee is the eighth and final seed at the Indonesia Open, and faces a tricky test first up against India's Lakshya Sen – who has won two of their three career meetings.

Should Lee get past Sen, another potential Indian opponent awaits in former world number 1 Srikanth Kidambi, although Lee does hold the upper hand 3–1 and did beat Kidambi at the Sudirman Cup. Alternatively, People's Republic of China shuttler Lu Guangzu – who Lee beat in the first round last time out in Kuala Lumpur – could be his second-round test.

World number five and Asian silver medallist Loh Kean Yew of Singapore, seeded fourth, is the other seed in his quarter, potentially standing in his way in the last eight.
