The Tokyo Paralympic Games, postponed by a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will start on August 24 and run till September 5.

India will field their biggest contingent at the Paralympics with 54 athletes to compete in nine disciplines at the Tokyo Paralympics. Only 19 Indians competed in the Paralympics at Rio 2016.
