The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 will be held in Australia and New Zealand from July 20 to August 20. Fans can watch live streaming of the women’s football World Cup matches as well as live TV broadcast in India.

FIFA Women's World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023 will be the ninth edition of the quadrennial women’s football world championships.

For the first time, a total of 32 teams - eight more than the previous edition held in France - will vie for the coveted FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 trophy.

The women's football World Cup will follow the traditional group stage-knockout format. For the group stage, the teams have been divided equally into eight groups of four teams each.

Teams in each group will face each other in single-legged round-robin matches and the top two sides will progress to the round of 16. The final will be played at the Sydney Olympic Stadium, the main venue for the Sydney 2000 Olympics, on August 20. The losing semi-finalists will meet for the third-place playoff at Brisbane’s Lang Park a day prior.

A total of 10 stadiums - six in Australia and four in New Zealand - will play host to the 64 matches of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The USA are the reigning FIFA Women’s World Cup champions. With four trophies, the USWNT (United States Women’s National Team) is also the most successful team in the competition. Germany (twice), Norway and Japan are the other champions.

Co-hosts New Zealand will face Norway in the opening match of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup on July 20 at Auckland’s Eden Park. The match starts at 12:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST).
