Hosts Germany will take on Scotland in the opening match of football's UEFA EURO 2024, as announced at the finals draw on Saturday (2 December) in Hamburg.
World Cup finalists France will take on the Netherlands in Group D, having been drawn against each other in the qualifying tournament, while defending champions Italy will lock horns with Spain and World Cup semi-finalists Croatia in what looks a tough Group B.
UEFA EURO 2020 runners-up England will be quietly pleased with their draw in Group C alongside Slovenia, Denmark, and Serbia.
Portugal are the stand out team in Group F, while Belgium will be favourites in Group E.
In total, 21 teams learnt their fates, with the last three places at the finals set to be determined by the playoff round in March.
The top two in each of the six groups, plus the four best third-placed teams, will go through to the round of 16.
