Brazil have been the dominant side in the competition so far and are yet to taste defeat. Peru, meanwhile, have had a mixed campaign at Copa America 2021.

La Blanquirroja needed to see off a penalty shootout against Paraguay to seal their place in the last four.
Brazil’s Gabriel Jesus and Peru’s André Carrillo will miss the semis after being handed a one-match ban for their red card offences in the quarter-finals.
In the second semi-final, Argentina will start as the favourites, especially with Lionel Messi rediscovering his form with La Albiceleste.
Lionel Scaloni's Argentina cruised through the group stage at Copa America 2021 and put up a quality show in the quarter-finals to book their spot in the semi-finals. They beat Ecuador 3-0 in their last eight clash.
Colombia, on the other hand, beat Uruguay on penalties in their quarter-finals. Despite missing their superstars in James Rodriguez and Juan Cuadrado, Colombia did well to restrict dangerous-looking Uruguay before eking out a win via the shoot-out.
Their head coach Reinaldo Rueda will be hoping for a similar performance when they line up against Argentina in the semi-finals.
