Stars to watch – 2024 ICU Pan American and Copa America Cheerleading Championships
The competition at the ICU Pan American Championships features national teams from five countries, while the Copa America will showcase individual clubs and gyms from across the Americas.
At the 2022 edition of the Pan American Championships, held in Santiago, Chile, the host nation dominated the competition, winning 10 golds.
The United States, a perennial powerhouse in the sport, secured two gold medals in Santiago in the junior coed elite, as well as the coveted coed premier division.
Earlier this year, at the ICU World Championships in Florida, Team USA won 12 gold medals. Canada (4), Mexico (2), and Chile (1) were the only other Pan American nations to claim a gold medal at the event.
