Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are set to battle it out against Serie A team Atalanta in the first quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League 2020-21 at the Estadio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica in Lisbon, Portugal. Indian fans can get live streaming of Atalanta vs PSG Thursday, August 13.
PSG reached the quarter-finals after overturning a 2-1 first-leg deficit in the Round of 16 against German side Borussia Dortmund. The French side won their home leg at the Parc des Princes 2-0 courtesy goals from Neymar and Juan Velasco to progress with a 3-2 aggregate.
Atalanta, meanwhile, have been in great form after a slow start to their group stage campaign in the Champions League. Gian Piero Gasperini’s men cruised through the Round of 16, besting La Liga outfit Valencia 8-4 on aggregate over two rounds.

Atalanta will be without their top scorer Josip Ilicic. The Slovenian has been out of the squad for the past month due to personal matters and has reportedly travelled back home. Goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini is also set to miss out on the all-important tie due to a knee ligament tear.
In what has been a huge boost for Thomas Tuchel’s PSG camp, French superstar Kylian Mbappe, who was expected to be out for three weeks after sustaining an ankle injury during the Coupe de France final against Saint Etienne, returned to full training on Sunday.
The 21-year’old Mbappe may be in line to make the squad for the Atalanta clash and his return will substantially strengthen PSG’s already star-studded attacking line consisting of Neymar and Mauro Icardi.
The French champions, however, will have to do without Argentinian winger Angel di Maria, who is suspended for the match. Midfielder Marco Verratti, too, is out injured.
