Live streaming, BWF World Badminton Championships 2023: Where to watch PV Sindhu, HS Prannoy in action

Top Indian shuttlers, including PV Sindhu and HS Prannoy, will be in action at the BWF World Badminton Championships 2023, scheduled from August 21 to 27 in Copenhagen, Denmark. 

All World Badminton Championships 2023 matches, to be played at the Royal Arena, will be live streamed in India.

A total of 14 Indian badminton players - one in women’s singles, three in men’s singles, one pair in men’s doubles and two pairs each in women’s and mixed doubles - will be competing in Denmark.

Two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu is India’s most successful player at the badminton world championships. The 28-year-old Sindhu is the 2019 women’s singles champion and has also won two silver and two bronze medals at the world meet.

PV Sindhu, 15th in the badminton rankings, is the only Indian in the women’s singles draw. 

World No. 9 HS Prannoy, who won the Malaysia Masters title and reached the final of the Australian Open, is the top-ranked Indian in the men’s singles competition.

Commonwealth Games champion and world No. 11 Lakshya Sen and Kidambi Srikanth, the 2021 silver medallist, will also compete in the men’s singles event.

In the men’s doubles, the Indian challenge will be spearheaded by the world No. 2 pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty. The Indian duo has won the Swiss Open, Indonesia Open and the Korea Open titles this season. 

Indian shuttlers have won a total of 13 medals at the World Badminton Championships so far.

Live streaming of the World Badminton Championships 2023 will be available on Jio Cinema as well as the Badminton World Federation’s official YouTube channel, BWF TV. The BWF World Championships 2023 will be telecast live on the Sports18 1 TV channel in India.
