At the last edition of the Pan Am Games in 2019, Cuba came out on top with eight gold medals, followed by the United States, Brazil, and then the Dominican Republic.
Santiago 2023 will host Olympic champions and world champions aplenty, while several rookies will also be looking to put their best foot forward ahead of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 next year.
