The Singaporean won in straight games, 21-19, 21-19, on court one at Sheikh Rashid Bin Hamdan Indoor Hall, Al Nasr Club, in the UAE.
The 2021 men's singles BWF world champion Loh had beaten Bahaedeen Ahmad Alshannik of Jordan, and India's Lakshya Sen in his previous matches.
He'll next face Lu Guang Zu of China, who beat fourth seed Kodai Naraoka 21-14, 20-22, 21-9 in the last eight.
Kanta Tsuneyama of Japan also reached the semi-finals, after his opponent HS Prannoy of India retired in the second game of their encounter.
The Japanese player will next face second seed Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, who beat Li Shi Feng in an epic last men's singles quarter-final, 10-21, 23-21, 26-24.
PV Sindhu of India was beaten by second seed An Se Young in the women's quarter-finals, 18-21, 21-5, 21-9.
Fourth seed Tai Tzu Ying also came from behind, in beating world number five He Bing Jiao 14-21, 21-16, 21-18.
As did Chen Yu Fei, the number three seed, who beat Gregoria Mariska Tunjung 10-21, 21-19, 13-21.
World number one Akane Yamaguchi completes the semi-final line-up, after a 13-21, 21-14, 21-17 win over Wang Zhi Yi.
