The Indiana Fever will have the No.1 pick of the WNBA Draft for a second consecutive year after landing the top selection on Sunday night (10 December).

The Fever, who selected this year's Rookie of the Year Aliyah Boston in the 2023 WNBA Draft, won the draft lottery ahead of the Los Angeles Sparks, Phoenix Mercury and Seattle Storm who will have the rest of the top four picks respectively.

The 2024 WNBA Draft will take place on Monday, 15 April 2024.

Iowa Hawkeyes point guard and reigning Naismith Award winner Caitlin Clark is currently the presumed No.1 pick should she declare for the Draft. The 21-year-old has one more year of eligibility because of the COVID-19 waiver and could wait until the end of the college season to announce her intentions.

Indiana, who follow Seattle Storm and Las Vegas Aces in having back-to-back No.1 picks, last won the WNBA title in 2012.

The franchise has failed to make it to the playoffs since 2016.
