2023 IHF World Men's Handball Championship: All results, scores and group standings
All the results and scores from the 28th men's handball World Championship, hosted in Poland and Sweden. Check out the latest group standings and scorecards, as teams battle for an automatic qualification berth for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Handball
Denmark won the 2023 IHF World Men's Handball Championship to complete a unique hat-trick of men's world titles.
The Danes had already clinched an automatic qualification berth for Paris 2024 by reaching the final against Games hosts France.
And they avenged their defeat to the French in the Tokyo 2020 final 34-29 to retain their crown.

The groups for the 2023 IHF World Men's Handball Championship:
Group A: Spain, Montenegro, Chile, IR Iran.
Group B: France, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia.
Group C: Sweden, Brazil, Cape Verde, Uruguay.
Group D: Iceland, Portugal, Hungary, Republic of Korea.
Group E: Germany, Qatar, Serbia, Algeria.
Group F: Norway, North Macedonia, Argentina, Netherlands.
Group G: Egypt, Croatia, Morocco, United States.
Group H: Denmark, Belgium, Bahrain, Tunisia.
The top three finishers from each group progressed to a four-group main competition, while the fourth-place finishers competed in the Presidents Cup.
The top two finishers from the four main competition groups proceeded to the quarter-finals.
The bronze and gold medal matches will be played on 29 January at Stockholm's Tele2 Arena.
