The National Basketball Association (NBA) on Tuesday night (25 April) announced that 242 players have filed as early candidates for the 2023 NBA Draft.
In all, 242 players have filed as early entry candidates with top French prospect Victor Wembanyama leading the 48 international hopefuls who have also declared.
The 19-year-old is widely expected to go as the No.1 pick when the 2023 NBA draft is held on 22 June in the Barclays Center in New York.
Players had until 23 April to apply for early entry and retain the right to withdraw their names from consideration no later than 12 June. Under NCAA rules, those who wish to retain college basketball eligibility must be withdrawn by 31 May.
