Jan Bednarek is a strong and skillful centre back who now plays for Aston Villa. He was raised in a family obsessed with football, including his brother Filip, who plays professionally as a goalkeeper in their home country. Poland’s last success in an international tournament was winning Silver at the Barcelona 1992 Olympic Games but a new generation of players is ready to take the 2022 World Cup by storm.
