Biography

Dina's passion for taekwondo started at a young age. She went on to become a member of the Iranian national team. Dina left her country in 2015 and arrived in the Netherlands.

Over the years, Dina has racked up many world-ranking medals. She became a silver medalist at the European Senior Championships in 2018 in Kazan; the winner of the Turkish Open in 2017 and 2018; and the Dutch Open in 2018 and 2019 - two of the most challenging world ranking tournaments. Consistently ranked in the top 10 of the world in the women's 46 kg., Dina credits taekwondo for her overall physical and mental well-being.

Having competed in the Refugee Olympic Team at Tokyo 2020, Dina was also a Refugee Olympic Team member at Paris 2024.
