Shaun White in tears after competing at the Olympics for the last time was just one of many memorable moments in Beijing. The snowboarder is not the only legend closing the book on an amazing Olympic career. Speedskaters Ireen Wust and Sven Kramer from the  Netherlands and cross-country skiing stars Charlotte Kalla & Dario Cologna have also crossed the finish line at the Olympics for the last time. And Natalie Geisenberger? Germany's luge queen has said it is very unlikely that she will be back for Milano Cortina 2026.

Time to say goodbye for Olympic legends

As the medals begin to flow at Beijing 2022, attention is now turning to Cross-Country Skiing.
That is because the Men's 4x10km Relay is taking place at 15:00 Beijing time.
There are plenty of athletes and teams to look out for in the build-up to the race.
