Before switching allegiance to Sweden, world champion Badou Jack represented Gambia at Beijing 2008 and carried the African country's flag in the Opening Ceremony. Things did not go to the plan in the ring however, as Jack went down in his first middleweight bout to India's Vijender Singh.
