Project: Like A Pidgeon
During her term, Lindsay developed Like A Pidgeon, a social initiative that uses golf as both a therapeutic tool and a metaphor for navigating grief. The project combines interactive golf clinics with a flexible workbook focused on emotional processing, healing and resilience.
By drawing meaningful parallels between the challenges of golf and the complexities of grief, participants were encouraged to explore their emotions and embrace the nonlinear journey of healing – allowing grief to shape, but not define, their growth. Through partnerships with local golf courses, Like A Pidgeon created safe, supportive spaces that promote mental health and empower individuals to find strength and community through sport.
