IOC Young Leader Bio:

An IOC Young Leader from 2021 to 2024, Dhukhilan Jeevamani is a former professional footballer and bronze medallist at the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games. He captained Singapore’s national youth football teams and graduated in Finance from University College Dublin, before serving in the Singapore Air Force.

His experience as an athlete instilled values of discipline, teamwork and leadership that continue to guide his journey. As an IOC Young Leader, he represented the programme at the One Young World Summit 2022 in Manchester and at the UTS World Virtual Youth Festival in Bangkok. Today, he is training to become a commercial pilot, aspiring to connect people and cultures both on the ground and in the skies.

Project: The Possible Play

During his time as a Young Leader, Dhukhilan founded The Possible Play, a football-based initiative addressing gender inequality and promoting inclusion for children aged 5-16 in Singapore. The project empowered girls and underprivileged youth through bootcamps, webinars and community outreach, using football as a platform for leadership development and participation.

By creating safe spaces for play and education, The Possible Play inspired children to grow in confidence, break down gender barriers, and see football as a tool for unity. The programme successfully scaled from grassroots engagement to broader recognition, positioning itself as a model for inclusive sport in Singapore.
