About Chilevisión
Chilevisión, owned by Paramount (NASDAQ: PARA, PARAA), is one of Chile’s oldest television channels. Originally called Channel 9, due to its broadcast frequency, it was founded in 1959 under the sponsorship of the University of Chile. In recent years, the network has successfully positioned itself as a leader thanks to its unique brand and editorial commitment, curated specifically for the Chilean audience. Chilevisión is the national leader in audience approval and ratings, with its wide range of entertainment and news content, and the transmission of major sporting events.
