Career

Started Sport at the age of five with aquatics/swimming and martial arts (Kung fu) at the age of seven. Subsequently played soccer as goalkeeper in primary school, and continued as an elite athlete playing for the Afghanistan Women's National Basketball team since late 2009. In 2019, as captain of the national team, represented the women's team as an Executive Board member of the Afghanistan National Basketball Federation.
