Conference Venue
The Principality of Monaco with its famous Rock lies between France and the Mediterranean. The prestige and fame of this seductive territory surrounded by the French department of Alpes-Maritimes extends well beyond its borders, which Colette once described as being “frontiers of flowers”.
Venue – Grimaldi Forum Monaco
Ideally located in the heart of Monaco and recognisable by its spectacular glass and steel design, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco (GFM) is the Monaco Government's Congress and Culture Centre.
With an adaptable surface of 75,000 m², this unique site offers 3 auditoriums, 22 breakout rooms, 2 large exhibition areas as well as several foyers and dining areas, ideally for conferences, trade fairs and conventions, as well as exhibitions, shows, concerts and digital events.
The Grimaldi Forum was one of the first eco-certified European congress centres to have successfully obtained the ISO 14001 international standard in environmental management in 2008. Since then, its energy efficiency has been improved by 35% (by consuming 100% green energy), its recycling rate has been multiplied by 2.5 and its water consumption per visitor has been divided by more than 2. With 2,500 m² of photovoltaic panels installed on its roof, it is the first solar energy producer in Monaco.
Currently GFM is on the way to get its sixth ISO 14001 certification, and to obtain the ISO 20121 certification for Sustainable Events, directly linked to its event activity and including all CSR components.
In 2020, the Grimaldi Forum acquired a 600 m² terrace for networking spaces or receptions that can accommodate up to 800 people standing, with a view of the Mediterranean (terrace connection).
As a major development prospect, in 2025 it will increase its exhibition area by almost 50% with an additional 6,000 m² of indoor space and create 2,000 m² of additional outdoor space as part of the Principality's offshore extension project.
