The “flying tomato”, as he is known... in the snowboarding world, secured the Olympic snowboarding Gold Medal after his first run, but beat that score on his victory run scoring 48.4 out of 50. Teammate Scotty Lago won the Bronze with a 42.8, and Finland’s Peetu Piiroinen won the Olympic snowboarding half-pipe Silver Medal with an outstanding performance.
