Rafaela Silva shot to fame at Rio 2016 as the hometown girl from the slums who claimed Olympic judo gold. Following two years "flying around... for events almost every day", she's back in training full-time, and winning the Pan American Games in Lima was a big step towards defending her crown at Tokyo 2020.
