Rebeca Andrade has taken the world of gymnastics by storm recently. Her Olympic gold medal in Tokyo was a first for a Brazilian woman in... the sport. She also made history with silver in the all-around, the first woman from South America to do so. Andrade followed that up with vault gold and uneven bars silver at the 2021 Worlds in Kitakyushu, but she also had to overcome heartbreak moments in her stellar career. "Life is made of wins and losses. It's part of it and I'm prepared for whatever may come, "she tells us. "So I really want to be happy. I want to be healthy to be able to do my best and show as much as I can to the world once again and be proud of the athlete that I am."
