Muirhead and her... team of Vicky Wright, Jennifer Dodds and Hailey Duff plus alternate Mili Smith were Great Britain’s only gold medallists of Beijing 2022. The Great Britain men’s team of Bruce Mouat, Hammy McMillan, Grant Hardie and Bobby Lammie plus alternate Ross Whyte claimed silver in the men’s event 24 hours earlier - the country’s only other medal in Beijing. Muirhead and her team’s success came 20 years after Great Britain’s only other gold in women’s curling, which came in Salt Lake City in 2002.
