Doctors did not think Ribera would survive the day of his birth but, aged 19, he's competing at his second Paralympic Winter Games. The para cross-country skier says he is heartened by the progress Brazil's Winter Paralympians are making, and delighted by his sister Eduarda (Duda) competing at the recent Olympic Winter Games.
