Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone on pushing 400m hurdles boundaries: 'I think 49 seconds is possible'
The 25-year-old defended her title in the 400m hurdles by setting a new world record of 50.37 seconds. 'The event is just getting faster and faster. I think we push each other to improve, get better, and find ways to lower these times that we once thought were impossible,' she said.
