Sifan Hassan (NED) produced an incredible feat of distance running at Olympic Games Paris 2024 with a gold and two bronze medals. Hassan won the women’s marathon on the streets of the French capital in an Olympic record time of 2:22.55. The race started just 36 hours after she had won bronze in the 10,000m on the track at the Stade de France. She earlier took bronze in the 5,000m.
