Yves Wansi 

Yves Wansi will carry the Olympic Torch. This is his story:

Yves hopes to pass on his perseverance and unwavering commitment in fighting the isolation and sedentarisation of visually impaired people. For 11 years, his main aim has been to promote genuine accessibility for visually impaired and blind people in all aspects of social life, particularly in education, culture, sport and employment.

Every day, Yves fights for the total emancipation of visually impaired people, through the association “Vue (d') ensemble”, which he co-founded and now chairs, in order to free them from isolation. For Yves, carrying the Torch is an immense honour and recognition of his commitment to these values.
