Younès Hichami

Younès Hichami will carry the Olympic torch. This is his story:

For the past few months, Younès has been actively involved in community life through various initiatives at APF France handicap, fighting for the rights and responsibilities of people with disabilities in an inclusive spirit. A fervent sports lover, he's rolled up his sleeves and dived into the world of wheelchair football. 

This 18-year-old young man with a disability showcases exceptional determination. Following his academic career has not stopped Younès from launching and shaping remarkable projects. At the same time, Younès entered a debating competition at the Caen Memorial, honing his skills in verbal jousts. With an open mind and a keen interest in current affairs and the challenges faced by those around him, Younès stands as a symbol of hope for many disabled young people. He is set to be an outstanding Olympic torchbearer.
