Paris, Day 2
Vivien Boyi-Banga will carry the Olympic Torch. This is his story:
Vivien, a businessman and animation specialist, is behind the “Talents du 18”, an innovative cultural project that aims to inspire by highlighting the everyday successes of the northern Paris area. This initiative celebrates sport by showcasing the achievements of champions from the north of Paris. Highlighting French excellence, the project uses portraits to tell the story of athletes from the 18th arrondissement who have shone on the international stage, whether at the Olympic or Paralympic Games. The “Talents du 18” provide financial support to athletes in urgent need, enabling them to continue representing their country at the highest level and pursue their Olympic or Paralympic dreams.
This association helps to promote an inclusive society by encouraging exchanges between different talents through good-hearted projects and events. Furthermore, the “Talents du 18” are also committed to para-sport, providing regular support to associations and structures in the 18th arrondissement of Paris that offer sporting activities and competition programmes adapted to people with reduced mobility. For Vivien, making the Games shine means giving everyone access to the keys to success for modern-day heroes.
