Valentin Loth

Valentin Loth will carry the Olympic Torch. This is his story:

Valentin, a sports teacher and “Generation 2024” advisor, is driven by an unwavering passion for sport, the Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as for action in favour of young people. His unwavering dedication is reflected in his total commitment, both in terms of time and energy, to offering pupils inspiring projects and initiatives. His aim is to pass on the flame for sport and the Games, while enriching the knowledge of his students through this global-scale event. Fully committed to raising awareness of para-sport and the Paralympic Games, Valentin is putting the spotlight on these disciplines, which are just as important as the Olympic Games. He is pleased to note the change in young people's attitudes to disability, as a result of the initiatives and experiences they have had with para-sports. At the same time, Valentin is involved as a volunteer in a tennis club and as a member of its committee. As a result, his commitment extends beyond the classroom to the voluntary and federal sectors, making him a true ambassador for sport, Olympic values and inclusion.
