Thierry Solignac

Thierry Solignac will carry the Olympic torch. This is his story:

Thierry, a sports enthusiast since he was a child, has engaged in a range of team and individual sports for four decades. Even a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis in 2014 has not stopped him from going out trail running and cycling. In June 2023, he summited the Mont Blanc together with some relatives, including his family.

As he sees it, carrying the Olympic torch is both the crowning achievement of his passion for sport and a symbolic retirement gift.
