She has also played a crucial role in implementing and developing many sports initiatives, especially in schools.

From founding sports associations to organising inter-school events such as sports matches and multi-sports days, Sylvie has always endeavoured to promote sport and the Olympic spirit within her community. Her selection as an Olympic Torchbearer is not just an honour for her but also for her town, which proudly boasts the “Land of the Games” label. It symbolises her unwavering commitment to sport and the Olympic legacy, as well as her exceptional contribution to her local community.
