Sophie Buléon

Sophie Buléon will carry the Olympic Torch. Here’s her story:

Sophie has been involved in sport as a volunteer and coach since she was 15. She gets most of her enjoyment from sharing her passion, and believes the Olympics represents sporting excellence at its peak. In 2016, an accident could have shattered her momentum for good, but it was through sport that she found the strength to stand up and accept her disability. And her involvement doesn’t stop there.

She helped to organise the Rugby World Cup in France in 2023 and continues to work at a sports club, constantly seeking to play a dynamic role while promoting the values of sport. Sophie believes that sport is much more than just an activity; it's a way of life. And the Olympic Games represents the quintessence of her passion and dedication.
