Sixtine Stalloni will carry the Olympic Torch. Here’s her story:

Sixtine sees her involvement with “l'Arche en France” as an exciting adventure. With its innovative perspective, this association seeks to develop communities where disabled and non-disabled people can coexist harmoniously. Its approach focuses on the principle of “living with” rather than “doing for”. As a volunteer, Sixtine can testify to the strength of this philosophy, having helped to run the “Village Extra” initiative in summer 2023. For a fortnight, the event brought together over 700 young people – including 240 with disabilities – in a setting where community, professionalism and an open-minded attitude coloured every activity.

They developed a varied programme that included singing, music workshops and sporting activities. These shared experiences helped to foster inclusion, reflecting the very essence of l'Arche. Sixtine’s voluntary work is helping her become aware of the importance of creating working environments where inclusion is not just a goal, but a tangible reality. By encouraging initiatives like l'Arche, companies can enhance their culture while kick-starting innovation and creativity, and boosting overall performance. That’s why Sixtine is committed to promoting this vision in all aspects of her life, helping to create spaces where each individual is recognised, valued and fully integrated.
