Pierre-Maël Cuisnier

Pierre-Maël Cuisnier will carry the Olympic torch. This is his story:

25-year-old Pierre-Maël has dedicated 14 years of his life to a charity that supports the growth and personal development of young people, with whom he was worked for 3 years. Throughout this experience, he has done handicrafts with people with reduced mobility to create magical moments for them.

In October 2022, he ran 13 kilometres for Handicap International, raising €1,300 from donors and sponsors that had agreed to support his charitable endeavour. All these experiences have brought him closer to others and to causes close to his heart, kindling his inner flame… and that of an inspirational and inclusive global event, the Torch Relay, which shines a light on values such as determination, courage and equality.
